US Center for Advanced Manufacturing CEO Cynthia Hutchison serves as panelist at 2022 Faculty Research Expo at Oakland University

Troy, Mich., October 13, 2022Cynthia Hutchison, CEO of the US Center for Advanced Manufacturing, was pleased to serve as a panelist at Oakland University School of Engineering and Computer Science’s 2022 Faculty Research Expo. The event took place on October 7 at Oakland University’s campus in Auburn Hills.

Hutchison joined industry colleagues in a lively discussion on shared responsibility in public and private partnerships, including how to develop such relationships and maintain them for the long term, and the role the private sector must play to make these relationships measurably successful. As CEO of the US Center for Advanced Manufacturing, Hutchison leads efforts to engage the national manufacturing ecosystem through local, national, and international projects and activities that accelerate the transition toward advanced manufacturing. In her work, she aims to help manufacturers not only survive but thrive as they adapt new technologies and evolve their workforces to meet the needs of an ever-changing landscape. Additionally, she works to ensure to ensure the next generation is prepared and interested in continuing the advanced manufacturing efforts.
