The US Center hosted its third and last C-Suite Strategy series for 2023 in Texas in collaboration with Flex. Valuable insights and strategic perspectives were shared on Digital Transformation in the manufacturing industry, highlighting workforce, collaboration and leadership. The discussions underscored the pivotal role of innovation and collaboration in fostering competitiveness and growth of US manufacturing. Accelerating Progress in our Value Chains

The US Center hosted its second C-Suite Strategy Series event in Wisconsin, in collaboration with GE HealthCare. At the event, we discussed, and heard from our collective community of industry leaders, academics and government officials on the challenges and opportunities surrounding US manufacturing supply chains. The US Center for Advanced Manufacturing is focused on leveraging the strength of small to medium size enterprise (SME) manufacturers across the US and designating best-in-class facilities that exemplify the transition into technology adoption. During this event, the community will discuss how to best understand how SMEs can leverage Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies to transform their factories, influence value chains, and impact business models. Hosted by Schneider Electric, a recognized Global Lighthouse, they will share case studies and best practices from their Lexington, KY plant.

Women at The Center Steering Committee

The US Center is hosting an exclusive, in-depth roundtable discussion to identify top themes for the upcoming 2024 US Center Women in Manufacturing Conference. This group will come together to identify: pressing topics / challenges facing women in manufacturing, opportunities through the lens of innovation, sustainability and inclusion, and best practices / success stories.
Learning Series: Voice of the Interviews
The US Center is actively engaging with manufacturers through this interview series by hearing worker stories and methods of adoption of fourth industrial revolution technologies. This series aims to gather current upskilling practices to compile strategies and solutions for the ongoing workforce challenges.

New Business Models: Playbook Launch
The US Center is putting together a series of events around the US to launch the Innovation Playbook, engaging manufacturers on how to use the information provided from case studies, interviews, and current innovation challenges in manufacturing today spanning topics from workforce to additive manufacturing.

The Apple Developer Academy, in collaboration with the US Center for Advanced Manufacturing, hosted a groundbreaking event in Detroit, shedding light on the evolving workforce landscape in manufacturing. The event emphasized alternative education pathways, empowering individuals to embark on rewarding careers and contribute to the future of the industry.
C-Suite Strategy Series: Sustainability
Joining industry leaders, executives, and sustainability experts in San Francisco for the C Suite Strategy Series, dedicated to driving sustainable practices in manufacturing throughout the United States. This C-suite included a fireside chat with HP Chief Strategy Officer, Savi Baveja, highlighting the importance of sustainability and clear goals for the future. The event also included a panel on how sustainability is driving innovation in value chains as well as an interactive roundtable with the community.
